Jove was the king of the gods, and the god of sky and thunder. He is the equivalent of Zeus in the Greek pantheon. He was called Iuppiter (or Diespiter) Optimus Maximus ("Father God the Best and Greatest"); as the patron deity of the Roman state, he ruled over laws and social order. He was the chief god of the Capitoline Triad, with Juno and Minerva. In Latin mythology Jupiter is the father of the god Mars. Therefore, Jupiter is the grandfather of Romulus and Remus, the legendary founders of Rome. Jupiter was venerated in ancient Roman religion, and is still venerated in Religio Romana Neopaganism. He is the son of Saturn. -Wikipedia At The Jove Institute, we believe each of us has the potential to achieve the heights of greatness as Jove. With rational hope, people have the potential to rise above their mental limitations (cognitive and emotional), and strive for relief of mental pain by using Cognitive Behavioral Theory to solve the underlying social problem that manifests as anxiety, depression, anger, jealousy, guilt, shame, embarrassment, problem solving deficits, social skills deficits, and many other challenges in daily life.
